Manuel Rivera is a longtime Washington, D.C. attorney, community advocate, and small business owner with nearly four decades of legal experience. He is the founding attorney of The Law Offices of Manuel Rivera, Esq. & Associates, where he is representing clients across the D.C. metropolitan area in immigration, workers’ rights, family law, and other matters impacting everyday residents.

Throughout his career, Manuel has devoted extensive time to pro bono legal work and community service, supporting immigrants, working-class families, and faith-based and civil rights organizations. Admitted to practice before state and federal courts — including the U.S. Supreme Court — he has spent his career standing up for families, workers, and individuals facing powerful institutions, and working to ensure D.C. residents are treated fairly under the law.

His work reflects a simple belief: the law must work for everyone, not just those with influence. As Attorney General, he will serve the people of the District of Columbia with independence, fairness, and integrity — enforcing the law without fear or favor, protecting residents from abuse and exploitation, and holding powerful interests accountable.
